The Remaster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare goes back to the day when the top scorers made a big leap in the gaming industry. In singleplayer mode, Raven is allowed complete freedom when it comes to animating some of the soldiers and when changing the perspective of the angle and camera to get the most dramatic effect possible. But lest there be any confusion, it’s still an old CoD with a familiar short-charged campaign style only now with a graphics quality that meets today’s standards.
Of course, there is also a lot of nostalgia in this remaster. Multiplayer is the best proof of that; the developers respected and left alone the elements that made the original Modern Warfare a classic. Those who pounded on the CoD at the time will have no problem recalling the original experience and fit into the middle, while novices who are encountering the style of warfare as it once was for the first time must be prepared for a lot of sacrifice. Forget futuristic weapons, accelerated movements, double jumps or walking on walls - there is nothing. This is the foundation of today's warfare. Get acquainted with weapons, maps, position good places and prepare for a skirmish. The goal is to get maximum skill, responsiveness and good environmental coverage.

Some small changes come even in the form of an inventory modification that is now more interesting; the sound of some weapons has been reconstructed to bring it closer to reality; HUD and even some voice sync has also been modified to meet today’s standards; but in terms of gameplay Raven decided not to touch anything, so this game remains a museum piece that does not need to change the restoration, but only the external glow.
Still, when players are content with not getting a remake but just a remaster, it will be hard to chew the sales policy of this title. Namely, CoD MW Remastered comes on sale only in the form of a package with this year's Infinite Warfare. So, there is no separate sale and if you want to enjoy this title, you need to set aside at least 80 euros for the entire package. Also, not all multiplayer maps are supported in this remaster, but if the developers keep their promise, they will arrive in the form of a free DLC by the end of the year.

We conclude that this year’s Modern Warfare is probably one of the best derivatives of existing remasters. We could even talk about creating a new standard in the adaptation of classical works. Raven has made a high quality conversion while respecting successful original mechanics, so we can rightly say that COD MW Remastered, despite its age, is still a game that all fans of good FPS will surely enjoy. So we warmly hope that the game will get a standalone version at a reasonable price in the near future, so that it becomes available to a wider gaming population
